UNLIMITED BOND PURCHASE
Unlimited Bond Purchase is a scheme implemented by the European Central Bank under the presidency of Mario Draghi in October of 2012. It was used to purchase large quantities of government bonds from eurozone countries that struggled financially. Spain and Italy were just some of the countries who benefited from it. Due to fear of the euro failing because of widespread economic turmoil the unlimited bond purchase program was carried out as a crisis-averting measure.
