UNPERFECTED LIEN
Unperfected Lien is a lien without a valid claim from the holder. Lenders engaged in unperfected liens are vulnerable for challenges for the collateral being used in the loan. Courts typically honor these liens in cases where the arguments are limited only to the borrower and the lender. Third parties in legal disputes in this kind of lien usually fail.
