USANCE
Usance has three definitions. First, it is defined as the use of goods for purposes that are economic in nature. Second, it may be used as the charged interest on funds that are borrowed, derived from the word usury which is synonymous to exploitation. Last, it is the period of time allowed by custom that extends between the billing date and the payment date. In this sense, the usance of bill differs between countries that usually ranges from two weeks to two months.
