U.S. DOLLAR/CANADIAN DOLLAR
USD/CAD (U.S. Dollar/Canadian Dollar) is the abbreviation for the currency of the United States of America which is the US dollars (USD) and its equivalent value in terms of the currency of Canada which is the Canadian dollar (CAD). This currency pair indicates the amount of Canadian dollars or the one referred to as the quote currency that is required to buy one US dollar, otherwise known as the base currency. In the trading world, the pairing of USD/CAD is also called as ‘Loonie’.
