UNITED STATES DOLLAR
The USD (United States Dollar) is the abbreviation for the currency of the United States of America. The United States dollar is equivalent to 100 cents represented by the symbol ‘$’ or ‘US$’ to separate it from other currencies that are dollar-based like the Canadian dollar and the Australian dollar. The US dollar is regarded worldwide as the benchmark currency used in most international transaction all over the globe and is adopted by many countries as their official currency while others, as their unofficial currency.
