Wachovia Hybrid and Preferred Securities Indices are market capitalization weighted indices that measure the performance of US-preferred shares and five other specialized indices. It is comprised of preferred securities that represent more than $100 billion in total market value. Meanwhile, the five specialized indices are actually subgroups of the main index.
