WEATHER FUTURE
Weather Future is a type of weather derivative that requires a buyer to purchase the value of underlying weather index at a future date. The weather index is measured in HDD (heating degree days) or CDD (cooling degree days), and it settlement price is based on the value of the HDD/CDD in a given month times $20.
