Z
"Z" is a Nasdaq stock symbol that indicates if a stock is a miscellaneous entity. It may be a stub, a depositary receipt, or an additional warrant. It is also a ticker symbol used for Zillow, an online real estate database. And before the new symbology for options were introduced in 2010, "Z" signified the delivery month of December in futures trading.
