529 PREPAID TUITION PLAN
Tax-advantaged investment plan designed for paying future college tuition expenses at current prices. Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code allows the account holder to obtain tuition credits at its prevailing price although it will not be used until a future year. This state-sponsored plan is available in certain states, but it is still possible to utilize the plan outside of the holder’s current state of residence.
