5-6 HYBRID ADJUSTABLE-RATE MORTGAGE - 5-6 HYBRID ARM
Adjustable-rate mortgage with a fixed interest rate for five years. After this period, the interest rate becomes floating, which will be changed every six months based on an index plus the margin or fully indexed interest rate. The margin is fixed for the loan’s life span while the index is variable. Such mortgages are normally linked to the six-month London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) index.
