ABUSIVE TAX SHELTER
A scheme in investment that claims to lessen the income tax without revising the value of a user's assets or income. Abusive tax shelters do not have any economic purpose other than reducing the state or federal owed when filing. Most of the time, these kind of schemes channel the funds through partnerships or trusts to avoid taxation.
