ACID-TEST RATIO
A type of stringent indicator that identifies whether a firm possess enough short-term assets for the coverage of immediate liabilities without putting the inventory on sale. The acid-test ratio is a score more strenuous than the working capital ratio, mainly because of the fact that the working capital ratio permits the inclusion of the inventory assets.
