ACQUIRER
The firms who is buying a company in an acquisition. an acquirer is sometimes called as bidder.
A merchant bank( a merchant acquirer) or financial institution which is contacted to authorize a debit or credit card purchase. The acquirer will either decline or approve the credit card or debit purchase amount. If approved, the acquirer will then resolve the transaction by putting the funds into the account of the seller.
