ACTIVE STOCKS
Heavily traded listed shares within an exchange. The active stocks are actively sold and bought, and most of the time have a huge number of outstanding shares. Due to the fact that they are heavily traded, active stocks generally have a little bid-ask spreads because of their increased liquidity.
