ADD-ON
Additional shares placed on the market by a company who has already gone public. The reason why a company might render an add-on financing may include cash raising for the funding of an existing operation, paying for a new project, or expanding operations. While an add-on may be truly help in raising cash, it may cause the decline of the price share of the company, and current shareholders may be reduced.
