ADJUSTED CLOSING PRICE
The closing price of a stock on any trading day that has been amended to incorporate any corporate action and distributions that happened at any time before the opening of the next day. The adjusted closing price is commonly used when performing a detailed analysis on historical returns or examining historical returns.
