ADJUSTMENT CREDIT
A short-term loan conducted by a Federal Reserve Bank towards a small commercial banks as needed to support short-term lending and maintain reserve requirements. This kind of advance is a very common type of borrowing from a Federal Reserve Bank and are generally used when the money supply is short and the interest rates are high.
