ADMINISTRATION BOND
A bond posted on behalf of an estate administrator to serve as an assurance that he/she conducts his/her duties according to the arrangements in the will and/or the jurisdiction's legal requirements. The bond will compensate for any financial losses to the estate from the improper acts or dishonesty by the administrator.
