ADVANCE DETERMINATION RULING - ADR
An Internal Revenue Service's ruling or decision issued to a taxpayer with a regard to a pricing matter or taxation. Normally, IRS usually address transactions that have already occurred on its determination letters, they may also be given on the tax consequences of proposed transactions thus arriving to the term "advance." It is also referred as "Advance Pricing Agreement."
