ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY VEHICLE MANUFACTURING PROGRAM
A program subsidized by U.S. Government and created under the section 136 of the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act. It provided $25 billion worth of grants and low-interest loans to parts suppliers and automakers for the purpose of creating advanced technology vehicles and their primary components in the United States.
