ADVANCE-DEPOSIT WAGERING - ADW
A kind of gambling on the results of horse races wherein a prior funding of the account is needed before the bettor is allowed to place bets. The ADW is commonly performed by online or by phone. Contrary to an ADW, advance funding is allowed by credit in which the accounts must be resolved at the end of the month. State governments, horse trainers, and racetrack owners sometimes receive share of the revenues from ADW.
