AGED ASSETS
Equipment that surpasses its predetermined useful span. Aged assets most probably includes the equipments which are still functional, but are expensive to maintain and operate; equipments that are still working, but frequently breaks down thus disrupting the operations; or equipments that are broken and too expensive to be repaired. The aged asset's proper management is a vital issue on equipment-reliant industries, such as the natural gas and oil industry.
