ANNUALIZED TOTAL RETURN
The average amount of money accumulated by an investment for a year over a specified period of time. An annualized total return provides only a peek of the performance of an investment and does not provide investors any sign of its volatility. The annualized total return only gives a geometrical average, contrary to an arithmetic average.
