ARM INDEX
This is also called as the fully indexed interest rate.
It is the benchmark interest rate wherein it is tied with an adjustable rate mortgage. The latter’s interest rate is composed of margin plus the index value. The index value of the underlying adjustable rate mortgage is actually a variable wherein in contrast, the margin is constant. For different types of adjustable rate mortgages, there are many indexes that can be used.
