ARTICLE 9
It is under the Uniform Commercial Code which main function is to govern secured transactions. Its duty is to know the legal right of ownership. It was revised last 2002 to modernize and expand the scope. It includes collateral to include electronic chattel paper, credit card receivables, accounts receivable and business inventory.
