ASSIGNMENT OF PROCEEDS
The document which transfers a part or all of the proceeds coming from a letter of credit towards a third party benefit. In order to acquire an assignment of proceeds, the letter of credits' beneficiary must give, in writing, a request to the bank for the assignment of the funds to an alternative individual or company.
