ATLANTA FED INDEX
A monthly survey of the manufacturing firms situated in southeastern past of the United States and conducted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. It is also referred as the Southeastern Manufacturing Survey.
The Atlanta Fed Index follows both expected and current indexes for average workweek length, employees, finish good inventories, production, shipments, new orders and backlog orders.
