BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE
An individual given authority by the U.S. Trustee, a Department of Justice officer, to stand for the estates of the debtor in a bankruptcy proceeding.
Even though the final instructions on the distribution of assets will be handed down by a bankruptcy judge, the trustee is obliged to provide evaluations and recommendations about different debtor demands in line with the Bankruptcy Code of the United States.
