A money market index that can employed as a rate-comparison tool by financial institution and consumers. The BanxQuote gives different types of tools and data. The money market index provides state, regional, national, and local compendiums of money market rates auctioned by representative lending institutions. The rates are collected from savings and loan institution and commercial banks, as well as local certificates of deposit (CDs).
