BATCH HEADER RECORD
A common record of information that have something to do with the movement of a group of data (a batch), commonly within the banking field. The batch header record hold information that is essential for the efficient processing of the batch. It recognize where the transaction starts and summarizes the credits and/or debits included. The batch header record completely illustrates the transaction, when added with the entry detail records.
