BEARER SHARE
An equity security that is completely possessed by anyone who holds the tangible stock certificate. The issuing firm neither records the person who owns the stock, nor does it pursue the change of ownership. The company distributes dividends to bearer shares when a tangible coupon is shown to the firm.
