BLOCKCHAIN
Public record of all executed Bitcoin transactions. Every completed blocks are logged into it with a new set of recordings. These are then added in a linear and chronological order. Every node has a copy of the blockchain, which is downloaded automatically upon joining the Bitcoin network. The ledger stores the address and balance of every transaction.
