BROKERED DEPOSIT
Large denomination bank deposit sold by a bank to a brokerage. The funds are pooled from others then the broker then packages the funds to sell it to their customers. Core deposits, including deposits from savings accounts, checking accounts, and certificates of deposit, are the other main component of a bank’s deposits.
