BUY AND HOMEWORK
Buzzword describing an idea the buy and hold is a losing technique. Coined by American television personality, former hedge fund manager, and best-selling author Jim Cramer, this strategy is to allocate at least an hour a week to research every stock in the investment portfolio. Research includes listening to conference calls, determining what the analysts are looking for, reading financial statement, and knowing latest news stories. Cramer emphasizes news and figures are available freely and easily on the internet.
