CALLABLE CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT
A certificate of deposit (CD) that is covered by FDIC, that holds a call feature same to other kinds of callable steady-income securities. Callable CDs can be reclaimed (called away) by the bank who issued it, before their indicated maturity, particularly within a specified time period, and at a preset call price.
