CANADIAN DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION - CDIC

A crown company held by the government of Canada that secures bank deposits as big as C$100,000 per individual account held in Canadian banks member where they manage the monetary institution break down. The company was built under the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation Act and Financial Administration Act in 1967. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the United States is the same with Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation which is also called as CDIC.
