M3
Measuring money supply which includes the following: M2, large time-deposits, repos of maturity larger than one day at commercial banks, institutional money market funds, certificates of deposits, short-term repurchase agreements, and other greater liquid assets. The assets measures in M3 are less liquid than other parts of the money supply and are referred to as "near, near money". These are also more closely related to the finances of larger financial firms and corporations than of individuals and businesses.
