CANDLESTICK
A diagram that exhibits the low, high, closing and opening amounts for a single day of a security. "Real body" is the term that pertains to the thick part of the candlestick. This indicates to the investors whether the closing amount was lesser or bigger than the opening amount (if the stock closed higher it will exhibits white/green while if the stock closed lower it will displays black/red ). The candlestick's shadows indicates the day's lows and high and how they compare to the close and open. A candlestick's shape depends on the relationship between the day's low, high, closing and opening amounts.
