CASH-SETTLED OPTIONS
Option contracts which does not require the actual physical delivery of the security due to high transport costs or when the buyer does not intend to hold its physical evidence. Settlement is done at the exercise date by paying the cash equal, the difference between the strike price and the present value of the security.
