CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
Document validating the existence of insurance coverage under certain conditions granted to listed individuals. Issued by an insurance company or broker, the certificate also lists the effective date of the policy, insurance coverage purchased, and types and amount of applicable liability. Also called insurance certificate.
