CHEAPEST TO DELIVER - CTD
In futures contract, the cheapest security which can be delivered to the long position in order to fulfill the contract specifications. This is relevant only for contract with various securities that can be delivered. It is common in treasury bond futures contracts that normally denote any treasury bond may be delivered, as long it has particular coupon rate and is within a specific maturity range.
