CLIFF VESTING
Process in which an employee is awarded the right the benefits from the employee’s qualified retirement plan account all at once following a specified time period. An employee is considered vested in an employer benefits plan once they have the right to receive these benefits. He can also be vested partially after he served for a certain years of service.
