COMMAND ECONOMY
System where the government determines the goods to be produced, quantity, distribution method, and price at which it will be sold. This is a key feature of a communist society. Some examples of countries with command economies are China, Cuba, North Korea, and the former Soviet Union. Also called planned economy.
