COMMODITY CREDIT CORPORATION - CCC
Agency, under the umbrella of the US Department of Agriculture, formed to help, stabilize, and protect income of American farmers and agricultural prices. CCC assists in maintaining a sufficient variety and supplies of agricultural commodities. Created in 1933 under former President Theodore Roosevelt's New Deal program, the agency also helps in facilitating systematic distribution.
