COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Employee responsible for ensuring the firm complies with internal policies and outside regulatory requirements. This officer evaluates and set standards for outside communications by either mandating disclaimers in email or examine facilities to make sure these are accessible and safe. He can also create or update internal policies to ease the risk of a firm violating laws and regulations, and also spearhead internal audits of procedures.
