CORPORATE UNDERTAKER
Slang term for liquidator. He oversees the liquidation of an insolvent corporation as the phrase suggests. Moreover, he acts as the figurative funeral director of a deceased firm who settles all of its outstanding accounts. His responsibilities include making arrangements with creditors, selling its assets and other actions relative to closing a company.
