CRAMDOWN
Bankruptcy often employed to obtain a Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization plan in spite of objections from certain creditors. It allows the bankruptcy courts to change loan terms subject to some conditions, endeavoring to have all parties come out better than taking no modifications at all.
