CURRENT ACCOUNT
Difference between savings and investment of a country. Current account pertains to the sum of trade balance (exports minus imports), net income generated from abroad, and net current transfers. A positive current account signals the country is a net lender. Conversely, a negative account signifies it is a net borrower.
