DORMANT ACCOUNT
Account with no recorded financial activity for a long time period other than posting of interest. Usually, no statute of limitation is applied on such accounts, and the owner or beneficiary can claim the funds any time. Most accounts have been left dormant for years because its holders have forgotten about them.
