DOUBLE IRISH WITH A DUTCH SANDWICH
Tax avoidance tactic employed by some huge companies by combining Irish and Dutch subsidiary firms to modify profits to low or no tax jurisdictions. It entails sending profits first through one Irish firm, then to a Dutch firm, and lastly to a second Irish corporation situated in a tax haven. This technique has enabled some companies to dramatically lower their overall corporate tax rates.
